First post of the year

I haven't posted in so.... long. But I am still active in the squirrel community, sorta. I recently re-joined The Squirrel Lover's Club after the new president of the club set it up. I'll try to make this blog more active by occasionally posting squirrel-related news articles.

Hey! I just found your blog. I love the squirrelies! I'm interested in finding a breeder... Do you know of one? I like the fox squirrels best. If you're interested, I feed and photograph many tame squirrels at Richland College on 635 in Dallas. Here are my photos:

BTW, I just found a photo of an Eastern Fox Squirrel. He looks like a samurai!

I have a small squirrel who I found trying to go to people and they were some young men who were trying to hurt it. I caught it and took it home. He is in a cage that was originally for a ferret and has shelves that he can climb up on. His name is Bobby and he comes when called. I can pet him through the cage. I never crowd him or force him and let him decide. I do love him but I am distressed at all the web sites that state that they turn vicious. I want to keep him and am trying to get info on how to keep him healthy and happy. Please help. I know they can be worked with - I just need to know how to do it right.

Thanks, Bobby's Mom
