Squirrel Awareness Tip #7

It's been quite a while since I've posted Squirrel Awareness Tips...

This is an important one... It would be very generous to donate to a local wildlife rehabilitation center that helps injured or orphaned baby squirrels. Most of the hard-working wildlife rehabilitators are non-profit, and accept donations. Here is a site that lists squirrel rehabbers by state: Squirrel Wildlife Rehab.

Thank you, Squirrelman, on behalf of a New York based wildlife rehabber specializing in the care of orphaned and injured squirrels (yes that includes those beautiful feisty adults). Just found your beautiful blog tonight and feel grateful to be reading it.

In the spirit of Squirrel Awareness I just want to remind everyone that this Monday, Jan. 21st is Squirrel Appreciation Day. So lets show our little friends and everyone else how much we appreciate them by putting out some extra food or decorating our yards with peanut butter/seed covered pine cones for them.
Anyway, HAPPY SQUIRREL APPRECIATION DAY!
